Opportunity Details:

Praise: We had a great turnout for our first missions-focused dinner in March and are encouraged by feedback received from the Missionary of the Month campaign. Calvary emphasized a day of fasting and prayer in regard to Ryan Corbett and his unlawful imprisonment. We were able to communicate that intentional effort to his wife Anna Corbett. By God's providence, Anna was able to speak with Ryan and this is the feedback received from her: "What a gift to speak with Ryan yesterday morning. It was a blessing that all 3 kids were still home before school. Although I must emphasize deep concern over his mental and physical state during interviews in order to create urgency, also know the fuller picture that he is definitely still clinging to the Lord in faith... Ketsia (their daughter) shared with Ryan on the call about all the people around the world growing in prayer and fasting. He was thrilled to hear this!
Prayer: That Calvary would grow in their knowledge of Calvary-supported missionaries and in the different works they are involved with around the world; and that we would have eyes lifted to see those around us who don't follow Jesus.
Current Needs: Right now we don't have any personnel needs, but hopefully we will have a list of ways people can help to serve during the missions emphasis weekend.
